Hannover Messe - day 5
Five days of trade fair, five days of quantum, five days of Hanover. To sum it up: Hanover you have been a special experience for us and we learned a lot from our first trade fair. We certainly didn't always take the easiest route and find solutions to our problems, but somehow we managed to put together a really great stand. On the last day, we once again guided smaller groups around our stand and told many visitors about the current state of development in quantum research.
The last visitor day was a little quieter, you could tell that there weren't as many visitors at the trade fair in general, but we were still hardly able to take a break. We seem to have struck a nerve with our stand, which fascinates people to stop by.
The highlight of the trade fair week was the series of presentations on "Your Quantum Future". With a total of seven presentations, the experts from our funding projects held several talks at the Tech Transfer Conference Stage and then entered into a dialog with guests about what works well in quantum research and what still needs to be improved.
The Hannover Messe was over at 6 pm sharp and we started to clean up. On Saturday we had to pack and stow everything in three large vans. Since we build the whole stand, from the floor to the trusses to the furniture, we wanted to get it back to Bottrop as easily and fast as possible. The entire stand was dismantled within three hours and we were on our way to the FabLab.
A massive thank you to everyone involved in making the Hannover Messe a great success and ensuring that both the organization and stand support worked so well.
