Student course a complete success

Student course on "Digital production in the laser cutter" a complete success

How do I use a laser cutter? The five girls which joined our student course on "Digital production in the laser cutter" were also faced with this question. Our employee Lena showed the students how to use the program Inkscape and create templates. The next step was to use the laser cutter to mill these onto a material of choice.

Some of the girls are part of the Girls' Academy in Oberhausen (a project offered by the Mint4u competence center) and took the chance to produce a self-designed sign for their FabLab.

All the students clearly enjoyed the project and were able to take home something self-designed at the end of the day.
