Metal 3D printing - the next revolution at HRW Fablab
Das HRW FabLab versucht nicht nur offen für alle zu sein, sondern als attraktive Innovationsumgebung neue Technologien auf höchsten Niveau nutzbar zu machen.
True to the FabLab motto “How to make almost anything”, we are now upgrading to additive manufacturing with metal. In about 2 months, we will be able to 3D print steel, aluminum and titanium. With the Laser Metal Fusion process and a system from Trumpf, we can “print” metal with an accuracy of less than 50 micrometers. Initial applications for our Quantum Technology FabLab and our educational robotics systems as well as various start-ups are being considered.
