Our FabLab

In line with our motto "We can do (almost) anything!", we have joined the Ruhrwest University of Applied Sciences with an area of around 600m2. Our mission not only extends to supporting companies and start-ups in the design of prototypes, but we also act as a teaching facility for students and pupils.

In the past year, we have driven forward pioneering projects such as the neighborhood development of a socially disadvantaged district. Together with schoolchildren, we designed an urban city garden that includes vertical gardens, raised beds and an intelligent irrigation system using a rainwater collection system. This initiative not only contributes to the sustainable development of the neighborhood, but also serves as an inspiring example of community engagement.

In our brand new quantum laboratory, we are creating groundbreaking experiments that will serve as teaching material at numerous educational institutions in the future. In this way, we make complex quantum physics accessible through tangible projects and share our knowledge in a network of quantum laboratories throughout Germany.

We are also known for our open evenings, which are open to everyone. Every Wednesday, we open our spacious machine workshop to all creative minds. The variety of ideas and projects that arise in this creative space never ceases to inspire us.

Our vision for the future is to continue to expand and offer even more opportunities. We strive to be a place of innovation, education and creative development that inspires and strengthens both local communities and nationwide networks.
