Sustainable establishment of open and cross-location teaching & learning environments in the HRW FabLab & IoT lab

The project aims to establish and further expand the HRW FabLab and the IoT lab as teaching and learning environments. In these high-tech innovation labs, students, lecturers, researchers and start-ups can work on practical projects and learn about new technologies in a creative atmosphere.

The aim of the project is to make these courses even more widely accessible, to improve cross-location teaching and to strengthen the practical relevance of the course.

The focus is particularly on promoting entrepreneurial thinking, supporting start-up projects and specifically addressing new target groups.

The long-term establishment of these innovation labs at the university should not only improve the quality of teaching, but also make an important contribution to the development of the HRW as an “Entrepreneurial University”.
